Aluminum Blade Shutters

Accordion shutters are a series of interconnected aluminum blades mounted to an aluminum framework that is secured around the window or door opening.

The accordion blades stand on end and ride in the top and bottom track of the framework.  The blades are divided into two groups and are attached to each side of the framework.  The number of blades on the right and left sides depends on the opening being protected.  The accordion shutter blades are pushed to each side, stacking-up on one another when not in use.

Each accordion shutter can be closed in less than a minute.  Simply pull the two stacks of blades together and engage the push button lock.  As you walk around your home looking for items to be brought inside, you close the accordion shutters as you go.  Most homes can be secured in twenty minutes.
